About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Project Lead to spearhead the planning and execution of National AI Literacy Day. This is a critical role responsible for managing all facets of the initiative, from strategic planning to final implementation. The ideal candidate is a seasoned project manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about bringing impactful educational initiatives to life. You will be the central force driving the project forward, ensuring all milestones are met and key stakeholders are aligned for a successful national event.

As the Project Lead for National AI Literacy Day, you will spearhead a pivotal nationwide initiative designed to demystify artificial intelligence for everyone. This event, in its third year, aims to bridge the AI knowledge gap by providing accessible, engaging, and foundational education to the public. You will be the driving force behind this movement, responsible for the strategic planning, partner collaboration, and flawless execution of a high-impact campaign that empowers individuals and shapes a more AI-fluent future.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage the master project plan, including detailed timelines, action items, and resource allocation. Proactively track progress, identify risks, and ensure all deliverables are completed on schedule and to a high standard.
• Website Management: Oversee the design, content, and functionality of the National AI Literacy Day website. Experience with Squarespace is highly preferred. You will be responsible for ensuring the site is engaging, up-to-date, and provides a seamless user experience.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders, including sponsors, educational partners, vendors, and internal teams. Foster strong relationships through clear and consistent communication.
• Marketing & Communications: Execute a multi-channel communications strategy to promote National AI Literacy Day. Manage social media accounts and campaigns to drive engagement and awareness across diverse media channels.
• Timeline & Deadline Management: In a rapid and challenging work environment, you will be expected to manage and prioritize shifting deadlines expertly, adapting the project plan as needed while keeping the team on track.
• Coordination & Communication: Lead project meetings, create status reports, and ensure all team members and stakeholders are informed of key developments and decisions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 2-4 years of demonstrated success in a project management role, leading complex projects from start to finish.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with website design and content management systems. Strong proficiency in Squarespace is highly preferred.
• Social Media Savvy: Proven experience developing and executing social media strategies and campaigns across various platforms to engage diverse audiences.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Planning & Execution: Proven ability in creating and executing detailed timelines and action plans.
• Stakeholder Relations: Exceptional skills in managing relationships and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a rapid, fast-paced, and challenging environment, with a proven track record of managing shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
• Problem-Solving: A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and overcome obstacles.
  

Compensation

Consistent with our diversity, equity, and inclusion statement, we strive to address systemic gaps in pay often present in our larger society as a result of gender, identity, or sexual orientation. All candidates are paid based on an independent third-party service or application that calculates the market rate for the applicant based on skills and qualifications, job duties, market conditions within the location of the applicant, education, and experience. This position’s compensation range is $52,000 - $72,000. InnovateEDU full-time employees receive paid vacation and sick leave, medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement, and other benefits.
