About the role
The Associate Project Manager supports the delivery of technology projects for not‑for‑profit clients within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment. This entry‑level role is designed for an IT services professional transitioning into project management, with a focus on building capability in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and delivery governance.
Working across multiple client engagements, the Associate Project Manager contributes to project planning, execution, tracking, and closure, while developing practical project management skills, confidence, and professional judgement through hands‑on delivery experience.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of IT projects across infrastructure, cloud, security, and end user services
- Maintain project schedules, task tracking, risks, issues, and dependencies using approved project tools
- Coordinate project activities across technical teams, vendors, and client stakeholders
- Monitor progress against scope, time, cost, and quality expectations and raise early alerts where risks emerge
- Support change control processes and documentation of variations.
- Build positive working relationships with internal teams and client representatives
- Participate in project meetings, workshops, and standups‑ups
- Prepare clear, audience appropriate project communications and updates
- Contribute to a client experience that reflects empathy, transparency, and trust, particularly within the not-for-profit context.
- Produce and maintain core project artefacts including status reports, RAID logs, meeting notes, and project plans
- Follow established project management frameworks and MSP delivery standards
- Support compliance with organisational, contractual, and client governance requirements.
- Develop practical project management capability through on the job experience and formal learning and supported exposure to increasingly complex project activities.
- Provide feedback and input to current methodologies and documentation and identify opportunities for improvement
About you:
To succeed in this role at Infoxchange, you will demonstrate:
- Seek feedback and coaching to build confidence and delivery effectiveness
- Grow understanding of the Not-for-Profit sector, including technology challenges and opportunities, funding constraints, and mission driven priorities
- Foundational understanding of IT services gained through hands‑on operational or support roles (e.g. service desk, infrastructure, cloud, identity, security)
- Experience working in an IT services or technical support environment, with exposure to structured work such as service delivery, coordination, or project‑based activities
- Demonstrated experience supporting or contributing to initiatives, projects, or improvements beyond routine operational tasks
- Exposure to MSP environments and technologies, such as:
- Network
- Cloud and server management
- M365, and Microsoft CSP portals
- MAM and MDM

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence using collaboration and project tools (e.g. Microsoft 365, project tracking systems)
- Analytical thinking with attention to detail
- Accountability for outcomes and follow through
