We’re looking for a proactive, delivery-focused Project Manager to lead the implementation of our client and case management software across a growing portfolio of community organisations. This role offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to make a real impact. You’ll thrive in a dynamic environment where collaboration, adaptability, and purpose-driven work are key.
This is a permanent full-time position (hybrid working model), based in either our Melbourne or Brisbane office.
What you'll be doing
- Drive the delivery of multiple concurrent projects from kick-off to go-live across government and non-government sectors.
- Take ownership of schedules: manage timelines, resources, and dependencies with clarity and focus.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships: engage clients, internal teams, and external partners to keep projects aligned and moving forward.
- Communicate progress: provide regular updates on budget, scope, risks, and milestones to all stakeholders.
- Navigate change: respond to shifting priorities and resource constraints with transparency and confidence.
- Maintain clear documentation: keep project plans and status reports up to date to support smooth onboarding and delivery.
- Solve challenges proactively: identify risks early, escalate when needed, and keep delivery on track.
What you'll bring
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple software implementation projects in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong grasp of project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to tailor them to real-world needs.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills – you know how to build alignment and sustain momentum.
- Clear and effective communication – you can simplify complexity and keep everyone informed.
- A history of delivering projects on time and within budget, even when timelines are tight.
- Experience in the not-for-profit or community services sector is highly regarded.
Personal attributes that thrive here
- You’re energised by meaningful work and enjoy navigating complex, evolving environments.
- You turn ideas into action and bring others along with you.
- You’re a self-starter who works well independently, but also values team collaboration.
- You’re comfortable making decisions with imperfect information and adjusting course when needed.
- You balance urgency with empathy, especially when working with mission-driven clients.
