Location: Canada / Remote

Rate: CAD 30 per hour

Hours: Full-time, 37.50 hours per week (must be able to work between the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute fundraising campaigns, setting goals and planning activities to meet fundraising targets.
  • Create compelling digital content, including social media posts, email campaigns, newsletters and videos, to attract and retain donors.
  • Track and analyze fundraising data to track campaign performance, donor trends, and identify areas for improvement. Provide regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other organizations, influencers, and stakeholders to maximize fundraising efforts and expand reach.
  • Assist with the monthly giving program, including the maintenance of stewardship and cultivation activities.
  • Plan and execute virtual fundraising events.
  • Maintain and update the donor database, ensuring data accuracy and segmenting donors for targeted communications.
  • Manage online donation platforms such as CanadaHelps, Benevity, PayPal, etc.
  • Stay updated on digital fundraising trends and best practices, recommending and implementing new strategies to improve fundraising performance.
  • Collaborate with members of other departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements

  • 3 + years of experience in nonprofit fundraising with a demonstrated track record of success in digital fundraising, lead generation and monthly giving.
  • Experience working in a data-driven fundraising environment, with the ability to analyze and interpret fundraising data to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Familiarity with fundraising software, design tools and marketing strategies, e.g. Facebook ads and Google ads.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate campaign and donor stewardship effectiveness and propose solutions.
  • Experience working with Indigenous communities in Canada would be a strong asset.
  • Proficiency in collaboration and delegation of duties.
