Teaching assistant position

10%-30%, Zurich, fixed-term

Are you interested in regenerative materials – earth-based, bio-based and reused materials? Would you like to support the organisation of our two CAS ETH programmes in Regenerative Materials?

We are looking for a motivated student assistant to help prepare and deliver these programmes during HS26 and FS27. This role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in the organisation and implementation of continuing education programmes at ETH Zurich.

Project background

It’s time to move beyond sustainability. Around the world, innovative solutions using local resources—such as earth, bio-based, and reused materials—are driving regenerative change. These materials not only minimize environmental impact but actively contribute to the restoration and enhancement of natural and social ecosystems.

Yet, despite their potential, regenerative materials remain underutilized in the construction sector. The lack of awareness among decision-makers and the limited expertise among practitioners are key barriers to widespread adoption.

The CAS ETH in Regenerative Materials, offered by the Chair of Sustainable Construction at ETH Zurich, are designed to tackle these challenges. These international training programmes provide the knowledge and skills needed to question conventional construction methods and promote regenerative materials: earth, stone, bio-based, and reused building materials—covering the entire lifecycle from resource extraction to construction, operation, and end-of-life.
