Student Assistant: Retail Company Research & Data Analysis

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented student assistant to join our university research group. This position involves collecting and analyzing data on retail companies in North America, with a focus on their social media presence.
Job description
- Research and identify the largest retail companies in North America
- Locate and verify corresponding social media accounts for these companies on Meta platforms
- Extract and compile data on posts and followers from our database
- Validate companies in the existing database
- Organize findings into well-structured Excel spreadsheets
- Maintain meticulous documentation of research methods and sources
We handle working time flexibly so that you can take time to prepare for exams or fulfill other study obligations.
Profile
- Currently enrolled as a student at ETH Zurich or another Swiss university
- Languages: German or English
- Strong research skills and ability to verify information from multiple sources
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Strong time management skills
