Our research focuses on comparing education systems and analyzing their institutional frameworks. Building on our experience in translational research, our research contributes to the evaluation and development of education systems in a number of countries on all six inhabited continents.
Job description
The research assistant will support the Chair of Education Systems with its reform labs and the annual CEMETS institute in July. In preparation for our summer institute 2026, you will work on impact studies for all our partner countries.
- As part of the impact studies, you will work as a member of a research team, contributing ideas, drafting initial texts, and producing study reports.
- The impact studies are presented in a graphics-heavy format, so experience with InDesign is a requirement.
- For the institute, you will work directly with reform leaders from all over the world, and you will have opportunities to apply a wide range of skills.
- Along with the CEMETS team, you will be responsible for materials and infrastructure (Moodle online course, flyers, etc.), and support during the institute.
- You will work in Moodle to maintain and improve the online component of the course, including graphical summaries of new content.
- You will also compile the event program booklet.
In this role, you will maintain regular communication with your colleagues at CEMETS and the Chair of Education Systems.
