Position Purpose
The purpose of the IT Tech role is to provide remote and onsite client support and to manage relationships of assigned client organizations with less than 50 employees.
Responsibilities / Essential Duties
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers, learning the fundamentals of server administration.
- Provide support for network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, working closely with senior administrators to troubleshoot and optimize.
- Respond to helpdesk tickets, assist end-users with technical issues, and escalate complex problems as necessary.
- Learn and adhere to established security policies, assist in security audits, and participate in the implementation of security measures.
- Support backup and disaster recovery processes, gaining exposure to best practices in data protection.
- Assist with hardware and software installations, maintenance, and inventory management.
- Maintain organized documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Work collaboratively with team members on IT projects and initiatives, contributing as you build your skills.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent coursework/experience).
- Eagerness to develop expertise in Windows and Linux server administration.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software fundamentals.

- Ability to work well in a team and follow established procedures.
Physical requirements
- Must have access to transportation to travel to clients frequently and timely while carrying IT equipment
- The ability to sit in front of a computer monitor for multiple hours at a time.
- The ability to lift 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds on occasion.
- The ability to converse with clients by phone.
- The ability to use computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
Hours and Location
- This is an in-person position based in Tulsa, Oklahoma
- A typical work week is Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- The work week will occasionally vary with advance notice depending on scheduled programming and other events; may require evening or weekend hours for special events or tours.
