ID2020 is a public-private partnership dedicated to solving the challenges of identity for these people. We believe that digital identity—the set of electronically captured and stored attributes and credentials that can uniquely identify a person—offers an opportunity to leapfrog paper-based identification systems, such as civil registries, and provide identity that is personal, private, persistent, and portable.
