| Policy & Advocacy Intern, VFAI - Fall 2025 The Policy & Advocacy Intern will support Veterans for American Ideals (VFAI) in advancing legislative and issue-based advocacy central to VFAI’s mission and project goals. The intern will assist with researching policy issues, developing advocacy materials, tracking legislative developments, and supporting congressional outreach to uphold American ideals of democracy, liberty, and human rights from the perspective of military veterans, families, and allies. How will you make a difference in the Human Rights space through this internship? Through this work, the intern will gain hands-on experience in legislative research, policy analysis, issue advocacy, and coalition engagement while developing a deeper understanding of how advocacy organizations influence public policy at both national and local levels. Education: Undergraduate or graduate student - recent graduates will also be considered.
