Time Commitment: Contract, 10-12 Hours/Week About The Role

We're seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our team in a pivotal role. As the Sales Coordinator, you will be instrumental in driving our mission to impact 1 million students. Your key responsibilities include managing the customer journey, establishing a transparent timeline system for program partners, and fostering collaboration between the education and research teams.

Leveraging your existing network, you'll be responsible for tapping into prospects to fuel business development and drive impact across K-12 Schools and Mental Health Institutions. Strong communication, organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail and process improvement are crucial for success in this role.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this position offers a unique development opportunity within #HalfTheStory. You'll work closely with education partners, implementing our programming and spearheading the development of scalable processes to amplify the impact of our program, Social Media U. Join us in achieving our ambitious goal of reaching 1 million students.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities:

  1. Partnership Development and Sales Goals: Identify and cultivate relationships with educational institutions, schools, and key stakeholders to expand our network of education partners. Drive sales efforts to onboard new partners and achieve set sales goals.
  2. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of partner interactions, sales milestones, and deliverables. Provide regular reports to internal stakeholders as needed to demonstrate sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including research, product development, and marketing, to align strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout the partnership lifecycle. Communicate sales insights to enhance overall business strategy.
Who You Are: We’re seeking an experienced, engaging, and authentic sales leader passionate about digital wellbeing. You might be a good fit if you are:
  • Mission-driven. You care deeply that your work is making a positive impact on the world, and you are not content until you are making that impact at scale.
  • Results Oriented. A creative and strategic thinker who’s laser-focused on results. You’re thoughtful and deliberate, and know how to turn audacious goals into reality. You’re data-driven and eager to test hypotheses about which strategies and tactics will enable you to achieve your goals. You will implement the idea that produces the results you’re looking for, even if it’s not your own.
  • An excellent communicator. When conflict arises, you know how to listen and talk through it. You are open and transparent in your thinking and never leave important things unsaid.
  • A servant leader. You understand that the job is about serving others -- helping your colleagues flourish in their roles and helping our prospective partner schools and districts thrive in building a better digital world for our kids.
