About us

Good Things Foundation is the UK’s leading digital and social inclusion charity. Our mission is a world where everyone can benefit from digital. We are the charity behind the National Databank, National Device Bank, and the National Digital Inclusion Network – the nation’s social infrastructure for digital inclusion.

Since 2010 we’ve helped over 3.5 million people to improve their lives using digital, driving positive outcomes such as employment, reducing loneliness, supporting basic digital skills, and health and wellbeing.

Good Things Foundation live the change we are seeking to achieve and encourage applications from diverse backgrounds. We operate a policy of providing equal opportunities in all aspects of work including recruitment, training, and promotion, whatever the colour, race, religion, belief, ethnic or national origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, age or disability of an employee, having regard to the individual’s aptitudes and abilities and requirements for the job. Good Things Foundation is opposed to all forms of unlawful and unfair discrimination. Our goal is also to be truly reflective of the makeup of society and we actively welcome difference.

About the role

The purpose of the Digital Inclusion Delivery Team is to grow and strengthen the National Digital Inclusion Network – a network of community organisations – and ensure that they, and the people they work with, benefit from the resources, services and support we offer to help those who are digitally excluded.

Working collaboratively with colleagues and network members, you will support the engagement and retention of digital inclusion hubs in the National Digital Inclusion Network.

You are a motivated, effective and collaborative individual, with excellent IT, organisational and administrative skills. You have excellent interpersonal skills and you will inspire and support network members to engage with Good Things Foundation and to develop their capacity to deliver digital inclusion in their communities.

You are committed to ensuring the best possible end-to-end experience for our target beneficiaries and community partners, and promoting the use of our products and services. You are passionate about building a movement to fix the digital divide, and gathering insights and stories from network members – sharing these internally to improve our offer to members, and sharing these externally to raise awareness of the value of the network.

Essential experience

As an applicant it is essential that you are able to demonstrate that you possess the following experience, knowledge, and skills:

  • Experience of building and managing customer relationships
  • Experience of using Google docs and tools (or similar) to collaborate effectively and transparently
  • Experience of facilitating training, events and workshops (virtual and face to face)
  • Experience of providing administrative support
