Garbo launched a consumer background check application in March 2022, assisting over 2.5 million people in identifying harmful behaviors. Despite facing challenges, including the need to shut down their background check technology in August 2023, Garbo continues to focus on addressing foundational issues related to safety and gender-based violence, partnering with various organizations to further their mission.
