finEQUITY.org is a new initiative focused on the financial health of families in spite of incarceration. Our vision is to build tools and services to further a prison-to-prosperity pipeline.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Program Operations Associate will work closely with the Executive Director and Operations Manager to drive success of our programs. This is a great opportunity to work in a startup environment and gain experience in nonprofit management. You will work with every part of organization and gain additional experience in program, partnerships, and product development and management. And most importantly, you will be helping to grow our impact and advance financial prosperity for family members impacted by the prison crisis.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES

  • Assist with management of core programs

  • Assist with outreach to target partners

  • Develop and implement better processes for program recruitment and promotion efforts

  • Assist with correspondence (responding to emails and phone calls, voicemail)

  • Assist with client emails, blog posts and other content creation

  • Assist in collection and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data for impact reporting and program evaluation.

  • Participate in creation/revision of programs by conducting stakeholder interviews.

ROLE TYPE

This is full-time position.

DURATION

This position is for 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension.

LOCATION

This is a hybrid position, partially remote and partially based out of our office in Brooklyn, NY.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Passionate about the intersection of technology and opportunity for families impacted by the justice system

  • Proactive communicator and problem solver

  • Independent thinker

  • Focused on quality vs. quantity

  • Good with people and building relationships

  • Skilled at managing multiple simultaneous projects

  • Impeccable speaking and writing skills

COMPENSATION

Equivalent of $50,000 to $57,000 annually

START DATE

Late May 2024
