Must be located in Oregon. As the Part-Time Program Coordinator at FinAbility, you will oversee the coordination of our 1:1 Financial Counseling Program, which pairs survivors of domestic abuse with trained volunteer financial counselors. You will play a crucial role in managing workflows and processes to ensure efficient coordination among stakeholders, including an anticipated 30 volunteers and 50 survivors in 2024.

Starting Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate virtual 1:1 financial counseling sessions between volunteers and clients using calendar management and scheduling software.
  • Implement workflows and processes for volunteer screening, training, and retention.
  • Facilitate volunteer check-ins and moderated group discussions to foster collaboration and support.
  • Collect and analyze post-session feedback forms to assess program effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and monitor volunteer and survivor retention.
  • Co-design and coordinate volunteer appreciation and client support programs to increase retention and participation.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in process management, volunteer management, and/or coordination, preferably in the nonprofit sector, education, or financial services.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, with intermediate skills in data analysis, calendar management, and group moderation.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to implement effective workflows and processes.
  • Commitment to trauma-informed practices and sensitivity to the needs of survivors.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a virtual environment.
