THE POSITION

Fast Forward is seeking a Partnerships & Fundraising Coordinator to support the Vice President of Partnerships in securing new strategic partners and providing a best-in-class experience for Fast Forward’s partners. The Coordinator will support all aspects of fundraising including operations as well as partner facing activities. This position will conduct prospect research, draft compelling materials and proposals, and execute day-to-day administrative tasks related to maintaining systems such as HubSpot. The Coordinator will also have the exciting opportunity to support all partner meetings and interface with leading corporate partners and tech nonprofits.

This role also requires attention to detail and the ability to project manage across multiple deliverables and priorities. The ideal candidate is interested in or has experience with activities related to fundraising and/or business development and/or sales, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and customer service.

We are looking for a passionate advocate whose career interests sit at the unique intersection of technology, social impact, and Corporate Social Responsibility. The Coordinator will be excited to share Fast Forward’s work as well as garner support for the tech nonprofits in our community. Over time the goal is to have this position take on fundraising and more external facing responsibilities.

This position is based in San Francisco, CA; it is a full-time, in-office role (no remote work).

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

FUNDRAISING & RELATIONSHIP BUILDING

  • Identify and research prospective strategic partners and funding opportunities for Fast Forward
  • Assist in securing new partners by calendaring, attending, and supporting all partner meetings, taking notes, and drafting follow ups
  • Maintain & optimize CRM to track partnership pipeline, prospecting, and contact activities including data reporting
  • Support Programs team on events such as Pitch Camps and Demo Days
  • Build and strengthen relationships with and knowledge of partners and represent
  • Fast Forward effectively in meeting and events
  • Support partnerships team to deliver an excellent partnership experience for Fast Forward’s Partners

OPERATIONS & ADMIN

  • Maintenance and management of all fundraising operations and systems including HubSpot and Notion project management pages and dashboards
  • Maintain partner facing assets like presentations, proposals, volunteer database, partnership email inbox, etc.
  • Support fundraising operations with invoicing, grant paperwork, thank you letters, and associated partner correspondence
  • Support partnerships team on reporting and impact tracking for all partners

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in fundraising, sales operations, partnerships, and/or business development.
  • Passionate about the impact and potential of tech for good.
  • Loves to research and doesn’t shy away from getting into the weeds.
  • Understands the power of data-driven decisions and is always looking for data points to back up new ideas.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer-centric mindset and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships.
  • Skilled in project management. Can take a project from idea to successful execution (and manage everything that happens in between).
  • Strong attention to detail. Doesn’t make low-effort mistakes.
  • Growth mindset and proactive problem solver.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing startup environment.
