About Us
F4F is a Hybrid Social Enterprise working to protect and increase India’s biodiverse forest cover in close collaboration with rural communities. Founded in December 2019, F4F is one of the few organizations in India working in the forestry sector and using a payment-for-ecosystem services model for its environmental protection and restoration activities.
F4F was incubated at Mulago, Fast Forward, NSRCEL-IIMB, The Nudge Institute and Shakti - The Empathy Project. Our work has been supported by several organizations including Accenture, ACT Grants, Opus Software Solutions, Rainmatter Foundation and Rohini Nilekani Philanthropies.
We have also featured on DW TV and Scroll's Eco India series as well as DW Hindi. We have also been selected as one of India's top innovators working in the ecosystem restoration and conservation sector by the World Economic Forum.
Job Description
Role: Field Executive – Schools for Forests Project
The Field Executive shall support the effective delivery of the School for Forest project by coordinating school engagements, facilitating educational sessions, and managing student experiences at the BD Hub.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct school outreach and coordinate schedules, permissions, and student participation.
Deliver approved educational sessions on climate change, biodiversity, and environmental themes.
Plan and facilitate student visits to BD Hub, ensuring smooth logistics, safety, and structured activities.
Maintain accurate digital records, attendance, reports, photographs, and participant feedback.
Support employee engagement programs and coordinate with the BD Hub team for activity readiness.
Participate in meetings and reviews, and undertake additional responsibilities for effective program implementation.
Requirements
Qualifications
D.Ed., B.Ed., Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW), or equivalent qualification in Education or Social Sciences.
Prior experience in school engagement, teaching, community outreach, or environmental education will be preferred.
Desired Skills & Competencies
Good understanding of climate change, biodiversity, and environmental awareness concepts.
Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging students and school authorities.
Ability to coordinate school schedules, manage visits, and handle field logistics.
Basic documentation, reporting, and digital data entry skills.
Organized, proactive, and comfortable working in field-based environments.
Willingness to travel locally for school outreach activities.
