About Us

F4F is a Hybrid Social Enterprise working to protect and increase India’s biodiverse forest cover in close collaboration with rural communities. Founded in December 2019, F4F is one of the few organizations in India working in the forestry sector and using a payment-for-ecosystem services model for its environmental protection and restoration activities.

Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, energetic, and people-oriented individual to support on-ground sales and marketing of RICE in Pune.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys fieldwork, meeting people, experimenting with sales ideas, and actively pushing a product through offline channels.

The role will involve hands-on execution, coordination with multiple stakeholders, and creative thinking to expand RICE’s presence across Pune through fairs, stalls, retail points, and corporate setups.


Requirements

Key Responsibilities

1. On-Ground Sales & Outreach

  • Actively promote and sell RICE through melas, fairs, exhibitions, and local events

  • Set up and manage sales stalls at events, markets, and public spaces

  • Identify and onboard grocery stores, organic stores, and local retail outlets for product placement and sales

  • Support sales targets through direct customer interaction and demos

2. Corporate & Institutional Outreach

  • Explore and coordinate opportunities to set up temporary stalls or sales desks at large corporate offices such as:

    • Accenture

    • KPIT

    • Cummins

    • Other IT parks, industrial hubs, and corporate campuses

  • Coordinate permissions, logistics, and stall setup for corporate sales days

3. Event & Stall Coordination

  • Liaise with event organizers, mela coordinators, RWAs, and corporate admins

  • Handle stall logistics including:

    • Setup and teardown

    • Inventory coordination

    • Basic sales tracking and reporting

  • Ensure branding material is displayed properly during events

4. Sales Innovation & Strategy Support

  • Propose innovative, practical ideas to increase offline sales

  • Experiment with new sales formats (sampling, bundles, corporate gifting, festival offers, etc.)

  • Share feedback from customers and retailers to improve sales strategy

5. Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain simple records of:

    • Sales done

    • Leads generated

    • Stores/events covered

  • Coordinate closely with the Pune office team for planning and follow-ups

Desired Profile

  • Student, recent graduate, or early-career professional with an interest in sales, marketing, or entrepreneurship

  • Comfortable with fieldwork and outdoor engagement

  • Strong communication and people skills (Marathi/Hindi required, English preferred)

  • Self-motivated, reliable, and willing to take ownership

  • Prior experience in field sales, events, or FMCG marketing is a plus (not mandatory)
