About Us
F4F is a Hybrid Social Enterprise working to protect and increase India’s biodiverse forest cover in close collaboration with rural communities. Founded in December 2019, F4F is one of the few organizations in India working in the forestry sector and using a payment-for-ecosystem services model for its environmental protection and restoration activities.

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Carbon to lead the development, validation, and monitoring of F4F’s carbon credit projects. The role involves ensuring methodological compliance, managing data-driven documentation, and coordinating with auditors, registries, and financiers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in forestry or ecology, experience in carbon asset development, and a solid understanding of ecosystem services and field-based carbon projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare Project Description Documents (PDDs) in compliance with relevant carbon credit methodologies.
Coordinate with carbon auditors and registries for project validation and verification.
Collaborate with internal teams to generate and organize data required for validation and verification.
Plan and oversee the collection of monitoring data and prepare detailed monitoring reports.
Liaise with carbon financiers to provide accurate project data and field-level insights.
Support in developing strategies for scaling F4F’s carbon portfolio and maintaining compliance with emerging carbon standards.
Ensure that documentation and reporting adhere to Verra and other international carbon registry requirements.
Provide technical inputs for new project concepts, feasibility studies, and carbon potential assessments.
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience in carbon asset development and carbon credit–related projects.
Academic background in Forestry, Ecology, or a related field.
Strong understanding of tree carbon stock estimation, biodiversity assessment, and quantification of other ecosystem services.
Good knowledge of agroforestry systems, ecological restoration, and on-ground ecological practices.
Proficiency in data collection, data analysis, report writing, and managing multiple stakeholders effectively.
