DART (Disaster Animal Response Team) Command Central was created to help communities with #EmergencyPreparedness and management of temporary emergency pet shelters opened in response to a #Disaster. We educate volunteers about the challenges of managing an emergency pet shelter and promoting community education on the importance of pet preparedness. Recognizing the difficulties faced by volunteers, a team of professional developers created the software to be simple and user-friendly in a chaotic environment. Our software assists communities by providing a system that streamlines emergency management of pet sheltering and volunteer workflow in the high-pressure setting of a disaster.
