Who we are

Crisis Text Line is a global nonprofit on a mission to ensure that no one faces a mental health crisis alone. We provide free, 24/7, confidential text-based support, reaching millions of people in their most vulnerable moments. By combining human empathy with technology, we deliver immediate, scalable access to care.

As demand for accessible mental health support continues to rise, we are expanding our corporate partnership strategy to build sustainable, mission-aligned revenue streams that drive measurable impact. We are entering a pivotal growth phase and seeking a strategic, externally focused fundraising leader to accelerate this work.

Role

The Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships is a senior individual contributor responsible for generating new corporate revenue through strategic partnerships, sponsorships, corporate foundations, and fee-for-service models. This is a highly external, sales-driven role focused on building and closing mission-aligned partnerships that advance Crisis Text Line’s long-term sustainability.

This leader owns the full partnership lifecycle—from prospecting through negotiation and expansion—working cross-functionally to deliver high-impact collaborations that extend beyond traditional CSR.

Why This Role Matters

This role is pivotal to Crisis Text Line’s sustainable growth. The Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships will directly drive revenue expansion, fuel innovation, and enable the organization to reach millions more people in crisis through bold, high-impact partnerships.

As the Senior Director of Corporate Sponsorships, you will:

Revenue Generation Leadership

  • Own and manage a pipeline of corporate fundraising leads, with clear annual revenue targets
  • Proactively source, qualify, and close new corporate partnerships, sponsorships, and multi-year agreements
  • Lead complex negotiations and structure innovative partnership models, including:
    • Fee-for-service offerings
    • Strategic commercial partnerships
    • Licensing, integrations, and employer-focused mental health solutions
  • Work collaboratively with team members on renewals, upsells, and long-term value from existing corporate partners

Strategic Partnership Development

  • Identify new revenue opportunities that move beyond traditional philanthropic or CSR models
  • Collaborate with internal teams to shape new products and partnership offerings aligned with corporate demand
  • Serve as a thought partner on how Crisis Text Line can monetize services responsibly while expanding reach and impact
  • Represent Crisis Text Line externally at conferences, events, and in-person meetings (in addition to virtual ones) with senior corporate decision-makers

Relationship Management & Internal Collaboration

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executives, corporate partners, and funding decision-makers
  • Partner closely with Development (Individual Giving and Foundation Giving teams), Marketing, Product, Legal, and Finance teams to execute partnerships effectively
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline tracking, and reporting using Salesforce, Asana, and related tools

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years of experience in corporate partnerships, business development, or revenue generation
  • Proven success closing mid-six- to seven-figure corporate partnerships
  • Strategic, process-driven leader with experience independently owning a full sales pipeline
  • Creative and forward-thinking, with a track record of developing innovative revenue models and partnership structures
  • Thrives in fast-paced, growth-oriented, mission-driven environments
  • Resilient and persistent, with the grit to navigate setbacks and close complex deals
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in nonprofit, social impact, health, or mental health sectors
  • Experience with Salesforce (for pipeline management)
