What you'll be doing:

The People Operations team facilitates values-aligned and effective recruiting, human resources, technical support, and operations processes that empower the Crisis Text Line team to do their best work in service of the mission.

As the VP of People Operations you will be a senior level leader, contributing to overall business strategy and fostering an inclusive environment where all Crisis Text Line team members can do their best work. You will be responsible for the successful strategy and function of human resources, recruiting, and IT support.

Responsibilities:

Human Resources

  • Develop and execute best in class HR strategies to support overall Crisis Text Line values, priorities, objectives
  • Implement compensation and benefits plans that are inclusive, competitive and cost-effective
  • Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform and improve employee engagement and retention
  • Function as a strategic advisor to the senior leadership team regarding key human resources, organizational design and management issues
  • Ensure compliance with HR regulations and best practices

Recruiting

  • Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies
  • Ensure organization recruiting processes are inclusive and values aligned
  • Build employer branding and awareness in greater mental health and tech forward non-profit space

Information Technology (IT)

  • Ensure IT support for employees that provides innovative tools and timely assistance while controlling costs

Direct Report Management; Lead your team to achieve results in a values aligned way

  • Set clear, impact focused individual goals
  • Provide consistent and actionable performance feedback
  • Intentionally support professional development

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant People Operations and leadership experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Human Resources and Recruiting best practices
  • Experience leading teams through growth and scale

Reliable High-Speed Internet Required: Must have a stable high-speed internet connection to support seamless remote collaboration, virtual meetings, online job tasks, etc.

The full salary range for this position, across all United States geographies, is $136,000-$205,000 per year. The upper portion of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience; during the interview process, candidates will learn the starting salary range applicable for their location. We pay competitively in the tech-forward nonprofit space and offer a robust benefits package.
