  • Communicate promptly via Slack and email, keeping the team updated on your availability and progress

  • Maintain clarity and consistency in managing your calendar, time, and tasks

Experience & Skills Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable with facilitating group workshops and 1:1 coaching sessions via Zoom

  • Experience leading and providing feedback for various types of technical interviews, particularly data structures and algorithms

  • Proficiency in at least one common programming language used in interviews (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript)

  • Ability to facilitate mock interviews, present coding challenges, review code, and provide constructive feedback

  • Strong time management skills

  • Enthusiasm for mentoring and helping students build confidence in technical interviews

  • Willingness to leverage and contribute to CodePath’s Technical Interview Prep curriculum

  • Data-driven mindset, with an eagerness to use metrics for process improvement

  • Flexibility and a willingness to experiment and learn

  • Passion for CodePath’s mission to create the most diverse generation of engineers, CTOs, and founders

In an ideal world, you have...

  • Experience with general career coaching or 1:1 mentoring for early career software developers, especially from communities underrepresented in tech
