Through Civis, individuals in India can understand an upcoming law or policy and share their feedback on this law, this feedback goes straight to lawmakers. This crucial step of consultation allows for participatory design of policies, increased trust and dialogue.

- On national level policies, through our website www.civis.vote.
- At the grassroots with urban local bodies, and non-profit partners. As a campaign manager, you will be involved with this stream of work.

At Civis, we’re uniquely placed – and working with large audiences across socio-economic strata. We are looking for a driven Campaign Manager to work with on a short term contract:
Responsibilities Include:
- Build and execute a high impact policy awareness campaign with young women and girls in Mumbai.
- This campaign will mobilise young women in Mumbai through 4 workshops and trainings to gain awareness on tools they have for civic participation, and use techniques such as theatre to build their civic voice and sense of agency.
- As a campaign manager, you will be responsible for:
- Identifying youth groups/colleges/institutions to partner with.
- On-boarding these youth groups to participate in the program.
- Planning and executing training logistics - such as venues, awareness materials and training content.
- Conducting 4 trainings for young women across Mumbai.
- Monitoring participation and answering queries as need be.
- Monitoring and ensuring successful completion of the campaign among students.
- Developing training collateral and interactive content.
- Working with partner NGOs to support them in their campaign efforts.
- Work on documentation of training and campaigns (with support).
- Work on project completion reports.
Requirements:
- You must be based in Mumbai and fluent in Marathi, Hindi and English.
- Prior experience building communities and a willingness to go out into the field is an advantage.
- 5+ years of experience working with on-ground communities. Relevant experience in public policy, training and facilitation will also be counted.
- Proven skills managing and leading time-bound campaigns.
- Empathetic; you understand what our community needs and issues that your teammates face.
- Execution-oriented; you’re highly organised; you’re comfortable managing many work streams; you know how to make the right trade-offs.
- Solution-oriented; you’re able to think of out-of-the-box solutions that work with limited resources.
- Collaborative; you work well with all kinds of people and teams; you’re open to learning from partners and peers.
- Communication; proven strong oral and written communication skills.
Job Details: Mumbai, India | Short Term (Full-Time) Contract | Remuneration: 75,000/- per month less applicable taxes | Dates: 1 May 2025 to 1 November 2025
