civ.works is a privacy protected social platform built for meaningful civic action.
The concept of civ.works is to finally provide a societal machine to stand up against something created nearly 50 years ago -and begin the process of empowering citizens again. We are building a platform together -against an incredibly mature and well-funded machine. Your volunteer efforts will be helping us collectively build something powerful and important.
,
The Raise the Voices youth team is a collaborative community of young people with an interest in human rights advocacy and democracy. We connect young people from around the globe to support one another in forming groups and teams that collaborate on projects of interest. Through this, we aim to promote youth civic engagement and empower young people to have an active role in advocating for human rights and government competency.
The overarching theme of our work is connection - connecting to people on the ground and their families, who are directly impacted by events or who are working hard to make changes; and connecting to those who have some power to help, whether that is the public through social media, congressional staffers, corporate board members, or reporters.
This program is mainly open to college and high school students.
