Raise the Voices, a volunteer-powered global human rights initiative, is seeking an experienced psychologist to join our growing network of advocates. As an organization driven by purpose and fueled by compassion, we elevate individual stories, support grassroots activism, and advocate for justice through strategic campaigns.

Role Overview

We are looking for a volunteer psychologist to provide virtual psychological support for individuals navigating highly complex trauma-related cases. Your expertise will contribute to a broader humanitarian effort focused on mental health, resilience, and dignified care.

Responsibilities

  • Offer psychological first aid and trauma-informed guidance in individual or small group settings
  • Collaborate with case managers and advocacy leads to ensure holistic support
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards
  • Contribute to ongoing mental health documentation and recommendations
  • Provide feedback or best practices for handling emotionally sensitive cases

Requirements

  • Professional certification or licensure in psychology, clinical therapy, or related field
  • Experience with trauma, humanitarian crises, or vulnerable populations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work remotely and independently
  • Volunteers may be asked to provide support aligned with the UTC+3 time zone, depending on case needs and coordination requirements.
  • Multilingual fluency (especially English) is a plus
  • Commitment to ethical practice and cultural sensitivity
