Company Description
Chimple is a playful, adaptive learning platform that helps children build strong foundations in literacy and numeracy through 2,000+ interactive games in Hindi, English, Marathi, and Kannada. Built for ages 3–8 and aligned with NCERT and state curricula, Chimple makes learning feel effortless, personal, and fun. We have deployed Chimple in 700+ schools and through teacher-directed at-home programs across 8 states, reaching 700,000+ students and training 1,500+ teachers. Independent RCTs, including studies by the University of Virginia and Wellesley College, show meaningful learning gains, with 10 minutes of daily use linked to learning growth equivalent to an additional academic year. In Hanur, our evaluation found 28% higher grade-level competence and 80% higher attendance, reinforcing what we see every day: when learning is joyful, children show up and keep progressing. Chimple was a finalist in the Global Learning XPRIZE and was field-tested with UNESCO, and we also won Maharashtra’s AI Innovation Challenge Award in 2019. We are building toward one clear goal: to reach 1 million children across India by 2030 and make high-quality foundational learning accessible at scale.
