About Chimple:

Chimple is an award-winning EdTech social enterprise, empowering children from low-income communities to build strong foundational literacy and numeracy skills through an open-source app. Chimple is a finalist in the competitive Global Learning XPRIZE, which challenged teams worldwide to develop open-source and scalable software that will enable children in developing countries to teach themselves basic reading, writing and arithmetic within 15 months.

Chimple is a grantee of Central Square Foundation. Our 2022–23 impact evaluation (RCT) in Haryana showed just 10 minutes of daily usage equals one additional academic year of learning. As we aim to reach 1 million children across India in three years, we’re looking to elevate our storytelling to match our impact.
