This role will also supervise key operations functions, including legal & compliance. The Head of Finance & Operations oversees our Operations Assistant and works closely with our external accountants and financial strategist.

About Change Machine

Change Machine prioritizes the financial security outcomes of those who stand to benefit the most in the design and delivery of tech-based products and services. Our mission aims to use the power of technology to build financial security across the ecosystem of customers, practitioners, and providers to close the gender and racial wealth gap.

Our Software as a Service (Saas) platform brings together practitioners and fintech providers to meet historically marginalized, low-income communities where they are, removing barriers to their success, creating equitable access to financial security, and empowering them to advance their financial lives on their own terms. Our products and practices have set the national standard for inclusive financial coaching, and more than 12,000 practitioners across all 50 states have used our platform to build their practice, connect with each other, and amplify their impact. The combination of our technology platform and our nonprofit mission enables us to more effectively achieve our vision of ensuring that technology advances financial equity.

In the Fall of 2023, Change Machine will create a for-profit entity to house its Saas platform that is owned by the non-profit. This position will play a crucial role in managing the business and financial strategy across the two entities.
