Callisto is a national nonprofit that leverages cutting-edge technology to empower survivors of sexual assault, provide a safe alternative to reporting, and increase the likelihood that repeat offenders will be held accountable. Our encrypted platform, Callisto Vault, enables survivors to safely document an assault and/or match with others harmed by the same perpetrator, whether or not they report.

All campus survivors nationwide, including students, staff, and faculty members have FREE access to Callisto Vault with their .edu email.

About the Position:

This new position will assist in enhancing the Legal Options Counselor Program to scale as Callisto’s outreach increases. This role will focus on developing a comprehensive data collection system to evaluate Callisto's effectiveness in addressing sexual violence and to provide researchers with valuable datasets, while maintaining strict security and confidentiality of survivors’ data. Additionally, this position will establish a network of local referrals for legal and mental health resources to support survivors who are matched through the platform.

This position reports directly to the CEO.

Primary Responsibilities

General

  • Create a system to collect data throughout the organization to measure impact of the Legal Options Counselor program
  • Work with the marketing team to understand and provide feedback on how users are finding the site
  • Conduct in depth analysis of the Legal Options Counselor program and makes recommendations for future program planning implementation
  • Establish consistent data collection, reporting and evaluation systems and procedures and may evaluate the merits of proposals for new projects
  • Understand the needs of survivors of sexual assault as it relates to be building a referral network of local, state, and national resources
  • Generate and sustain a network of legal and mental health resources
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive data
  • Collaborate with the development department to apply for grants as well as create necessary tracking systems to ensure compliance
  • Assist in training new Legal Options Counselors as necessary
  • Develop trauma informed surveys to be sent to survivors of sexual violence
  • With the help of the marketing team, transform data sets, quantitative and qualitative analysis into compelling visuals
  • Use academic research to guide data collection
  • Other duties as assigned
Essential Skills and Experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in program evaluation and development and data collection, preferably in an organization that focuses on gender based violence
  • Experience in creating data collection systems from scratch
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Understanding trauma informed practices
  • Ability to self manage time and effectively communicate within a fully remote team
  • Track record of excellence in managing multiple projects on different deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work a varied schedule based on the needs of the team
  • Strong familiarity with Google’s productivity suite - calendar, docs, sheets, email, etc
  • Proficient knowledge in Excel, Google Analytics, and other data collection and management tools
  • Understanding of, and alignment with, Callisto's mission

Salary range: $65,000-$75,000
