Banquet was founded to create a more equitable and sustainable food system. We firmly believe that none of our neighbors should be going hungry, especially when there's more than enough food to go around. Our organization partners with other non-profits and food retailers to manage the final-mile delivery of rescued goods through our web app. We aim to feed more families, reduce food waste, and cut down greenhouse gas emissions by resolving the delivery issues associated with food rescue. We hold a favorable determination letter and are officially classified as a public charity.
