Description

InReach is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic team of Community Partnerships Interns to join our organization in Fall 2024. This internship will focus on expanding InReach's reach and impact through community outreach and strategic partnerships.

We are InReach, a trans-led tech nonprofit building the world’s first open source platform matching LGBTQ+ people facing persecution or discrimination with safe, verified resources. Our free platform offers instant access to critical services such as housing, medical and mental health care, legal help, trans-focused services, meal assistance, education, employment, translation, community, and spiritual support. Available on web, iOS, and Android, InReach lists thousands of services across North America, with new verified services added daily by trained volunteers. We aim to be a comprehensive digital one-stop-shop for the intersectional LGBTQ+ community, serving LGBTQ+ asylum seekers, refugees, and other immigrants, BIPOC communities, the TGNC community, youth and caregivers, and more.

As a Community Partnerships Intern, you will work closely with our Community Outreach & Programs Director to secure link referrals from related websites to boost our SEO, ensure LGBTQ+ Pride Centers across the country know about InReach, and establish marketing partnerships that result in physical media placements, such as QR codes on windows or direct link icons on public computers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in community outreach, partnerships, and grassroots marketing while making a meaningful impact in the LGBTQ+ community.
