Amplio's mission is to empower the world's most vulnerable communities through knowledge sharing. We provide inclusive digital technology and consulting services for sustainable development projects in rural and remote communities. The Amplio Talking Book is an equitable, gender-sensitive device that delivers hours of audio content on-demand in any language. It's designed for low-literate people living in hard-to-reach, rural communities. It can be programmed, and reprogrammed, with hours of content on any topic. A built-in speaker allows families and groups to listen and learn together. They can also record their feedback. The Talking Book has a rechargeable battery, so no electricity or connectivity is required. The Talking Book collects usage data and user feedback for program monitoring and evaluation. Talking Books are used to deliver consistent and accurate messages, amplify message reach, and support training and capacity building. The devices can be used by community health workers.
