Director of High School Cohorts (Volunteer, Ámaxa Leadership Committee)
ámaxa
About Ámaxa
Ámaxa is a nonprofit empowering high school students (ages 14–18) from around the world to create meaningful, measurable change. Since launch, more than 240 students from 48 countries have applied to our 100% remote program, where they join small teams, guided by trained undergraduate coaches, to complete unique projects with one of our 9 global nonprofit partners or original initiatives. We believe the ability to make an impact should never be limited by income or geography.
Our nonprofit partners are based in Palestine, Uganda, and Liberia, and our initiatives focus on mental health first aid, support for LGBTQ+ artists, access to feminist literature across ages, and combatting climate change through youth initiatives.

- Play a key role in advancing our new vision of making Ámaxa’s program as individualized as possible, ensuring every student receives 1:1 support and opportunities tailored to their interests.
- Assist in reviewing student applications and conducting student interviews
