The AIM Upward Bound Youth Academy program is a federally funded grant program that provides fundamental support to underrepresented high school students to increase the rate at which participants succeed in secondary and post-secondary education and pursue rewarding tech-enabled careers.

The Youth Academy serves high school students from low-income/under-resourced families and families in which neither parent holds a bachelor's degree.

The AIM Mentor works directly with the students served by the AIM Institute's programs. These services may include teaching, tutoring, mentoring, liaising with subject teachers, coordination subject mentors, following up with students, contacting parents, or counseling.
