We're seeking a seasoned Devops and Security Professional to lead and implement security & infrastructure for Adalat AI's court transcription systems across India and eventually the global south.

This role combines hands-on technical work with security leadership, focusing on protecting sensitive legal data while building scalable solutions for court systems.

Core Responsibilities

• Architect and implement end-to-end security infrastructure for handling confidential court transcription data
• Lead interactions with court IT departments to design and deploy secure data exchange protocols
• Drive cloud infrastructure decisions and migrations while maintaining stringent security standards
• Build and oversee a comprehensive security program covering both technical and procedural aspects
• Design and implement encryption systems for protecting sensitive legal documents and transcriptions
• Advocate for and implement security best practices across the organization
• Manage security compliance requirements specific to Indian judicial systems
• Lead security audits and maintain documentation for court system integrations
• Mentor team members on security practices and build a security-first culture

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps / security engineering roles
• Strong track record of building secure systems for handling sensitive data
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and security best practices
• Deep understanding of encryption systems and data protection methodologies
• Experience in security advocacy and stakeholder management
• Strong communication skills to interface with court officials and technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Indian judicial system IT infrastructure
• Background in implementing SOC-2 or similar compliance frameworks
• Experience building secure document management systems
• Knowledge of Indian data protection laws and compliance requirements
• Track record of leading security initiatives in regulated environments
